Matt is a guy that just loves to fish and has the heart to serve others by donating his time to take our warriors out fishing.
A lifelong resident of Northampton County, NC and has been fishing Lake Gaston waters his whole life. Matt is also the VP of Glover Construction.
Mike, an avid, lifelong angler, loves to fish and spend time on the water. As a former volunteer firefighter he is always looking for ways to donate his time to help others. He enjoys teaching new and beginning anglers how to find and catch fish. Mike currently resides in Wake Forest, NC
Nichole is a longtime military advocate, the daughter of a Vietnam Era veteran, the wife of a 31-year veteran, and the mother of a veteran. She has been a volunteer, supporter, and advocate for military families for more than two decades.
LT. Anthony Brown (U.S. Navy Ret) comes to us from North Carolina. Anthony, who recently retired from the Navy as a disabled vet himself spends all his time on the water competing in various Catfish Tournaments (Team Catch em' Up Fishing). During this time, he personally ensures that a veteran is on the water with him. Anthony dedicates himself to the sport and support of our military warriors.
Active duty Army, We are located in Central Texas. We fish Belton Lake and Lake Waco but also will travel depending on the needs of the veteran with their location.
It takes a lot of folks to offer the service that we do. We can't do it without your help. If you have a talent/skill that you think can help us meet the Vision, Mission, and Goals of OVWN, come join our team
The Development Committee shall be responsible for Operation Vets with Nets' fundraising activities and shall coordinate its fundraising goals with the Finance Committee and Marketing Committee.
This committee shall focus on raising overall awareness about Operation Vets with Nets in the Virginia and North Carolina community as well as supporting the Operation Vets with Nets staff and the Development Committee in furtherance of visibility and development goals.
Social Media is one of the biggest platforms today to communicate a message. We need someone who is a social media guru and influencer. Put your talents to work to further OVWN.
Are you a charter captain, or an experienced fisherman with your own boat? If you are and would like to volunteer your time to take our country's warriors on various fishing trips, please reach out to us. We are looking for various leads with experience on different lakes and rivers in Virginia and North Carolina.
