About Our Event

We are so excited to bring back Operation Vets with Nets to Ohio for the 2nd Annual OVWN on the Ohio and provide Reel Therapy to our Nation's heroes!! We will be having a meet and greet and light meal to do pair Vets and Captains on Friday October 10th, 2025 at the Manchester Veteran's club. Fishing from 8 AM- 4 PM on 11 Oct 2025, and a meal provided at the campground upon returning to the ramp. Each Veteran (or Active Service Member) will be paired with a captain for a day of catfishing the Ohio River. This event is 100% free to our Veterans!!! We have some raffle items already rolling in. If you know a Vet who would like to fish, send them our way!! We are also looking for boat captains so if you would like to give your time for this, please shoot Michael King a text at 937-515-0103.
